We support all the values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and recognise the meaningful contribution that New Zealand poetry and poets make to healthy, holistic and enduring relationships between Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti partners.

a fine line is the New Zealand Poetry Society’s quarterly magazine. Each issue contains feature articles, poetry book reviews, poems, haiku, art, plus a seasonal featured poet.

a fine line is an online publication for members. We do accept poems and haiku from non-members for a small fee, but we encourage you to join or renew your membership if you’d like to have open access to submission and to receive all four issues a year.

We support the pulse of poetry and its vibrant diversity, across Aotearoa and beyond.
